Policies govern the board - are you being consulted?
Consulting on proposed policies is one of the most important trustee responsibilities. Along with the Education Act, they set the rules and expectations for students, parents, schools, staff and trustees. They're reviewed at Governance & Policy meetings and then go to a Board meeting for approval. Scroll down for more.
