Catholic education should be about every student having the opportunities they need to live their life to the fullest.

For example, academic success for some springs from the confidence gained from other successes - like sports, the arts or school clubs - so those opportunities need to be there for students who wouldn't otherwise have access to these experiences. 


Equity means staff need to be provided the professional development needed to recognize when students are in need - in need of resources, tools or programs, to create a more level playing field for  students across our Board.

We are blessed in Ontario with publicly-funded Catholic education. 


There are those without who would like to see its demise.. And even more 

troubling, there are leaders and organizations within our Catholic community who don't seem to understand that publicly-funded  means publicly-accountable.
