When you designate yourself as an English Separate Supporter, you foster a strong political voice through the ability to vote for your Trustee. Thee is NO connection between where you direct your support and where taxes are directed - Ministry education grants to school boards are on a per pupil basis.
You are given 3 minutes to speak, following which trustees may ask you questions for clarification only. Oddly, you MUST submit your full written speech at least 2 days in advance or you won't be allowed to speak.
Delegating is a great place to let ALL trustees know about local needs and demand action.

Thanks to the St Vincent de Paul CSPC and students delegating at Board, we now have an annual $1.2M Playground & Schoolyard Fund for all schools which each school can apply for directly. Complaints can be sent to the Ontario Ombudsman, which is an independent and impartial Officer of the Legislature who resolves complaints about government and public sector bodies - including school boards. It promotes fairness, accountability and transparency in the public sector by investigating public complaints and systemic issues.

entitled to ALL their records., including ALL information in the Ontario Student Record. Your principal should give you access.

contact your local superintendent, then the Associate Director, Academic Affairs and then the Director of Education if you need help.
